We are seeking a tenacious and insightful Investigative Political Reporter to join our Media and Communications team. In this role, you will be responsible for covering current political developments, while also undertaking in-depth investigative projects on key policy issues and matters of public interest that align with our mission.

Your role will include:

• Researching and writing compelling news articles, in-depth features, and analytical pieces on local and national political landscapes.
• Conducting thorough investigations into specific topics, uncovering facts, and presenting findings in an engaging and accessible manner.
• Developing sources and maintaining a network of contacts within political circles and relevant communities.
• Producing well-researched, accurate, and impactful content for various platforms, including our website, publications, and social media channels.
• Collaborating with the communications team to ensure journalistic content aligns with the party's overall messaging strategy while upholding ethical journalistic standards.

The ideal volunteer will have a strong news sense, excellent research and writing skills, a commitment to factual accuracy, and a passion for uncovering stories that matter.
