Job Description

Overview

We are looking for a practical and energetic Logistics and Setup Coordinator to manage the physical aspects of our event preparations. This hands-on role is crucial for ensuring our events, meetings, and campaign activities are set up efficiently and effectively.

Your help would be needed for the following activities:

  • Transporting materials, equipment (e.g., banners, tables, chairs, promotional items, basic A/V) to and from event locations.
  • Setting up and dismantling event infrastructure as required.
  • Managing inventory of event supplies, ensuring items are accounted for, maintained, and stored correctly.
  • Coordinating with event venues regarding setup requirements and access.
  • Assisting with on-the-day logistical problem-solving to ensure events run smoothly.
  • Working closely with the Field and Event Logistics Director and/or Event Coordinator to understand requirements for each event.

Ensuring all setups are safe and presentable.

The ideal volunteer is well organised, physically capable of manual tasks including lifting and carrying, and has a proactive, problem-solving attitude. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being active and ensuring things are in the right place at the right time for successful party engagement.
