We are looking for a practical and energetic Logistics and Setup Coordinator to manage the physical aspects of our event preparations. This hands-on role is crucial for ensuring our events, meetings, and campaign activities are set up efficiently and effectively.
Your help would be needed for the following activities:
<ul>
<li>Transporting materials, equipment (e.g., banners, tables, chairs, promotional items, basic A/V) to and from event locations.</li>
<li>Setting up and dismantling event infrastructure as required.</li>
<li>Managing inventory of event supplies, ensuring items are accounted for, maintained, and stored correctly.</li>
<li>Coordinating with event venues regarding setup requirements and access.</li>
<li>Assisting with on-the-day logistical problem-solving to ensure events run smoothly.</li>
<li>Working closely with the Field and Event Logistics Director and/or Event Coordinator to understand requirements for each event.</li>
</ul>
Ensuring all setups are safe and presentable.
The ideal volunteer is well organised, physically capable of manual tasks including lifting and carrying, and has a proactive, problem-solving attitude.
